Research & Standards · The Founding Research
Co-created, not imposed
The School began with a question. It did not answer it. It carried the question to the people who live it.
The answers did not scatter. They converged.
December 2025. Just over a dozen questions, sent across Europe, North America, the Middle East and beyond. Owners answered. Spouses. Heirs. The advisers who serve them. Not opinions — experience. Where wealth feels clear. Where it feels heavy. Where something has to change.
5 patterns. Every role, every region, every language. The same sentence, said in different words: the way wealth has been held is no longer sufficient for what lies ahead.
These findings are the first cycle of many. Research, measurement and standards are how the School learns. Each cycle deepens the field, and each is built with the people it studies.
5 patterns
- Ownership has outpaced stewardship architecture.
- Non-financial capital has become the bottleneck.
- The rising generation is the emotional centre of gravity.
- Families want orientation before commitment.
- This is a threshold — not a crisis.
The Family Wealth Stewardship Ecosystem, mapped.
Alongside the research, the School maintains a map of the family-stewardship ecosystem — companies and entities, families, foundations and the networks that connect them — together with the relationships recorded between them.
It is maintained as the research continues, and it is held privately. Members and partners can ask for access.

The Missing Discipline
The Wealth School begins where these conversations meet.
Built with stewards. Not on them.
If you recognise yourself in these patterns, you are not alone — and you are not early.
