The structure that holds the School, the people who carry it, and the oversight that holds them all to account.
Two bodies, one institution — by design.
One carries the work into the world: builds, teaches, earns, grows. The other holds the mission in trust: the Commons, custodial, unowned. Neither is complete alone. The enterprise gives the mission reach; the commons gives the enterprise a conscience it cannot outrun.
The work can grow. The mission cannot be sold.
The School is not owned. It is held.
The School is carried by stewards across generations — literally. Three of its steward lines run within families: daughter and mother, mother and son, father and son.
