Children, whatever their age, learn about wealth from more than what they are told. They notice what is discussed, what is avoided, what is valued, and what money seems to make possible.
This class looks at the conversations around money, privilege, work, inheritance and responsibility, and at what we may want the next generation to understand without deciding for them what wealth should mean.
In the room
- What do children hear when adults talk about wealth?
- What is worth saying directly, and what is better shown?
- How do we speak about privilege, responsibility and inheritance without scripting someone else's life?
You leave with a clearer sense of what you want your children to understand about wealth, and 1 conversation worth having.
